As a teacher, Emily’s goal is to create spaces that fuel artistic bravery, honor the individual and activate embodied, specific storytelling.
Emily works with private clients both in person and remotely. The sessions are prescriptive and intensive, shifting according to each individual’s needs. Current clients are working on character work, audition material, voice and movement techniques and communication skills.
Spring 2022, Emily taught a modern play scene-study course for the Junior BFA students at Adelphi University. Fall of 2022, she will taught a class on Chekhov and Diction for the BFA 2nd and 4th year students. September 2022, she directed their fall production of This Is Our Youth and in the spring of 2023 she directed Vanities.
Emily has been on faculty at New York Film Academy and led the Acting program at the NYFA Florence, Italy campus during the fall of 2021. At NYFA, she taught scene-study, voice and movement, speech and monologues.

Emily is a publci speaking coach and facilitator with Fearless Communicators where she helps thought leaders from all over the world figure out what to say and how to say it. Past clients include 7 First Ladies of African Nations, C-Suite Executives and Fortune 500 Companies.
While earning her MFA at the University of California, San Diego, Emily taught courses in Public Speaking and Acting for which she earned the University’s Distinguished Teaching Award in 2016.
Emily has created curriculum and taught at NYU/ Tisch, University of California San Diego, University of New Mexico Las Cruces and the Cherubs program at Northwestern. She also teaches workshops with the Back Room Shakespeare Project.
